Aside from using additional lighting in the form of lamps in your office, it is also important to monitor the brightness of the monitor of your computer. It is more helpful if the light from the computer blends proportionately into your surrounding, most particularly the blue light emitted from your computer. Another thing to watch out for in your office is glare, principally when your desk is situated adjacent to a window. In such a situation, glare is going to constitute quite a nuisance. Closing the blinds could be an idea on the other hand, or you may protect your eyes from this glare with a specialized eyewear.

As we mentioned earlier, we can also experience eye strain in our homes. This is more common when we read with dim lights, or possibly carrying out home duties in dark spaces.
